Hello people’s

Last week I got a great offer for a internship in Suriname. Well first I was like , I’m thinking about it, but then it hit me. I always say “I’ll think about it “ but I never do any thing.

So I said yes, and in about a Month I’m leaving for the country of Suriname.
There is a project to support the local people ( Marron’s ) in creating a map of the forest and the things they can do with the forest ( except cutting it and selling the wood ). First it’s a time in Paramaribo at the Anton van kom universiteit , ( because there will be dutch student involved as well as Suriname student’s ) Then we go to a little village near the Tapanahoni river. It is near the border of French Guyana , deep in the main land of Suriname and deep in the tropical forest . There we will make a lot of trips deep in the forest to look at the state of the forest and the type of vegetation there.

I’m so thrilled I’m going there. I almost can’t wait , but first I have to finish my internship here in the Netherlands and prepare for my trip.

And then there is the story of my mother . Hihi , she’s more scared the me , I know it is a dangerous trip. And now she is saying. Do you really wanna do this?? You don have to do this you know that right. Can’t you just say save at home.
But when I said ” What is live worth , if you have not lived it. “

So now I will update here on the progress.
